At the 3 day international conference held sept 10-12, there were many fascinating debates and discussions. A presentation from Berlin on what they described as a 'Runaway House' raised many questions- a service built on holistic, social approaches, democratic and egalitarian and an alternative to a medical led approach. Lets have one in Stockport!

On the Wednesday, a Review of Terry McLaughlin's life and work was given, as well as an excellent talk by China Mills on young people (upto 24) hearing voices, and how it affects their current and future well-being, collecting stories,artwork and experiences of young people, and the research currently being done by the hearing voices network.
